FWURL keeps you informed through various email notifications. This guide explains how to customize your notification preferences to receive only the communications that matter to you.

Accessing Notification Settings

  1. Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu
  3. Click the Notifications tab

Email Preferences

Newsletter & Updates

Stay informed about FWURL news, features, and tips.

What's included:

  • New feature announcements
  • Product updates and improvements
  • Tips and best practices
  • Industry news and insights
  • Promotional offers and discounts

Frequency: Typically 1-2 emails per month

Toggle: Enable or disable the Newsletter option

Performance Reports

Receive regular summaries of your link performance.

What's included:

  • Click statistics summary
  • Top-performing links
  • Traffic trends
  • Geographic insights
  • Comparative analytics

Frequency: Weekly digest

Toggle: Enable or disable the Performance Reports option

Notification Types

Transactional Emails

These essential notifications cannot be disabled:

Managing Preferences

Enabling Notifications

To subscribe to a notification type:

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications
  2. Find the notification toggle
  3. Click to enable (toggle turns on)
  4. Click Save Changes

Disabling Notifications

To unsubscribe from a notification type:

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications
  2. Find the notification toggle
  3. Click to disable (toggle turns off)
  4. Click Save Changes

Saving Changes

After adjusting your preferences:

  1. Review your selections
  2. Click Save Changes at the bottom
  3. A confirmation message appears
  4. Changes take effect immediately

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of any FWURL email
  2. Click Unsubscribe or Manage Preferences
  3. You'll be taken to your notification settings
  4. Adjust preferences as needed

Note: Unsubscribing via email link updates the same settings as the dashboard.

Email Delivery

Ensuring Delivery

To make sure you receive FWURL emails:

Add to contacts:

  • Add noreply@fwurl.com to your contacts
  • Add updates@fwurl.com to your contacts

Check spam/junk:

  • If emails go to spam, mark as "Not Spam"
  • Move emails to inbox to train your filter

Whitelist our domain:

  • Add fwurl.com to your email whitelist
  • Add to your organization's allowed senders if applicable

Troubleshooting Delivery

Not receiving emails?

  1. Check spam/junk folders
  2. Verify email address is correct in profile
  3. Ensure email is verified
  4. Check if notifications are enabled
  5. Contact support if issues persist

Receiving too many emails?

  1. Go to notification settings
  2. Disable unwanted notifications
  3. Consider performance report frequency
  4. Use unsubscribe links in emails
